Pinot Noir is the most demanding grape in the winemaker's cellar — and one of the most rewarding when the conditions are right. The Okanagan Valley's unique combination of warm days, cool nights, and glacial soils creates exactly those conditions: concentrated flavour, vibrant acidity, and the delicate complexity that makes BC Pinot Noir increasingly sought after by wine lovers across Canada.

After 93 Pinot Noir 2023 is sourced from small-lot vineyards on the slopes of Mount Boucherie in West Kelowna — one of the Okanagan's most respected sites for cool-climate red varieties. The wine opens with expressive aromas of black cherry, blackcurrant, and fresh raspberry, deepened by a signature hint of vanilla. On the palate, soft sweet tannins carry layers of ripe strawberry, forest floor earthiness, warm baking spice, and clove — all converging on a silky, elegant finish that is the hallmark of true Okanagan Pinot Noir.

Elegant. Expressive. Unmistakably Okanagan.

Its lighter body and refined structure make this wine as versatile at the table as it is impressive in the glass. Serve it alongside BC salmon or seared tuna — a classic pairing that Pinot Noir handles better than almost any other red. Wild mushroom dishes, duck breast, charcuterie boards, and aged cheeses are equally at home. For a special occasion, decant for 15–20 minutes and serve slightly cool (14–16°C) to let the full aromatic complexity emerge.

As with all After 93 wines, the Pinot Noir carries the BC VQA designation — a guarantee of origin and quality that begins in our Gill family vineyards and is carried through by Consulting Winemaker Daniel Bontorin, whose 19+ years of Okanagan winemaking experience and minimal-intervention philosophy let this remarkable terroir speak for itself.

A standout red wine from one of BC's most exciting young wineries.
